"An oasis of excellence! Honestly, I didn't think it was possible for a hotel to get 100% ten-out-of-ten reviews all written by humans. But then we stayed there, and Stevenson Hotel deserves every one of them. It's just exceptional in ways you don't see much any more, down to the last detail. Even the toilet paper is superior quality! The brass fixtures in the room, the home-cooked breakfast, the comfortable mattresses and soft cotton sheets, the elegant bar and lounge, it's all top-notch for a competitive price. No gym/pool/business center etc., no corporate branding, just a small, traditional (but renovated), independent hotel in all the best ways. It feels like your "old money" friend invited you to stay."

"The room was very clean and the owner-managers were super friendly. You can see the river & Mt. Adams from the property so you really get the Hood River "feel". I would/will stay here again and recommend it to friends (or even strangers). It was a great experience overall."

"If you’re looking for the cleanest, the most comfortable, the best kept property, and privacy THIS IS ABSOLUTELY the place! It was an immaculate experience. My advise? Buy the breakfast - and yes get it delivered to your cabin. It’s 1000% worth it. Daniel is an AMAZING chef. Be sure to stop in to the office for homemade treats each day. Dora is so welcoming and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better couple’s retreat. We’re excited to come back someday!!"
