"Bushi-san was the best host. He makes the whole experience and even speaks very good English. We experienced a tsunami warning and had to cancel our flight back home. Bushi allowed us to stay another night. He was very good with the kids. He made lots of jokes, let kids try out the samurai weapons and armor, and even made shaved ice with our kids. Bushi-san makes this B&B a lively and exciting experience. The property itself is outdated with lots of random knick knacks. The futons were a little...
"My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...
"This was one of my favorite hostel experiences ever. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
"This is a great place, very convenient to a lot of shopping. The train station was just about a five minute walk a lot of restaurants I recommend this place."
"Great location, easy to get to from train station. Toshi thought of everything and was really helpful for our first few nights in Japan. Even provided cold towels in the fridge on arrival, much appreciated in this intense heat."
"It's very close to the metro station either escalator or elevator. There is supermarket near the hotel. super convenient. Moreover the fabulous view @lobby floor, you can walk around the floor to see the view of bay"
