The room was spacious and very modern style. The room had all the accommodations making the stay very comfortable. The room are clean and neat, overall 5/5 stars.
In the final leg of our trip, we had to do some work in amongst our travels. Our room at the Oakwood had the perfect set up for this. The room was spacious enough to allow for 2 desk areas, tv viewing, bedroom and kitchenette. The room was cleaned daily and provided comfortable bedding and amenities. The restaurant on the top floor is run by an external business, so we were unable to put expenses on our room tab, which was slightly inconvienent. The breakfast provided was a choice of set menu and not a 'buffet' style which is more familiar to the hotel traveller. All staff were polite and helpful, both in the restaurant and hotel. The location was perfect as it was a short walk to the new Metro and only 3 stops from downtown, or a 15min Grab ride. I would recommend the Oakwood highly as a great mid-range place to stay.
My first night I could not stay there because my flight was delayed. I already paid for two days So I asked to extend my stay one more day. Too make up for the day that I couldn’t stay. I had to pay again.
staff are friendly and polite, The lobby is very clean and my room is facing the saigon river , The breakfast has limited selection but it is good enough for me such as eggs, bread, bacon , coffee, tea , fruit, crossiant, yogurt and milk.
The staff was very courteous and professional— very responsive to every need. Oakwood is a relatively small hotel and the quaintness and friendly demeanor adds to its charm.
Upon future visits to Vietnam 🇻🇳 I will not hesitate to book my hotel reservations here at Oakwood.
