I would recommend this hotel as a stay for a short day trip. It has everything you want in a compact space. Its location is good, and it's especially pretty clean! If you just want a cheap place to stay before going to the Grand Canyon, I would highly recommend it!

The only 'less than ideal things' I can note are that the street noise and trains were a challenge to sleeping ( bring ear plugs) and the kitchen did not have cold drinks and snacks available as the write up indicated.
