The Hotel is very dated, but acceptable due to the price. The area rates are quite expensive. It's very handy for me because i visit family close by. The Hotel has a well stocked bar and dining area with a good menu selection. This is the 2nd time i have stopped here and i would stop again. It has ample parking and is next door to the beautiful Devils Punch Bowl ideal for walkers.

The room was a generous size & the bed was comfortable. There was loads of hot water. The meal I ordered in the bar/restaurant was excellent as was the staff. The bathroom was warm. However, the central heating panel in the bedroom was not on or working so the room was very cold especially during winter. The hotel is very worn & badly needs renovations in the room. This is a pity as it could be such a draw card for the area. Please upgrade this lovely old building - I would love to come back.

Room was very old and tired. Carpet very stained and bathroom wasn’t very clean. Shower was also very old, with no water pressure at all. The mattress was very thin. Walls were very thin so I could hear everything. I was staying here for work so I couldn’t move hotels. I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were friendly and kind though. And there is loads of parking spaces.
