"We booked through Expedia and booked an “Oceanfront” room. When we arrived we got checked and noticed our room was partial ocean view and located on the 2nd floor right above the bar and by the pool (where every night we heard screaming kids and people at the bar at 3am. We complained but nothing was done.). We pleaded that we came from Arizona and asked to be moved to a different room preferably upper level and Oceanfront which we thought we had purchased. They told us that it was the only room...

"The lokahi lodge is a very comfortable stay. It’s like staying in a cabin. Very quiet location right next to volcano national park. The room was clean, spacious, and nice. Good stay for anyone wanting to visit the park"

"We were so surprised when we rolled up on this property. It was well maintained & beautifully landscaped. The cottage was decorated with a colorful flair. The bathroom was roomy & had a big shower. The porch looked out over the property facing the ocean & great sunrises. We stayed 4 nights & were genuinely sad to leave. After 10 days traveling, this was the perfect place to relax"
