"Nothing to complain about at all, friendly team (bar particularly!), the spa was great (had a fab massage from, I think, Amy). Mildly cold overnight (this could well have been me not understanding the heating system). First choice to stay in St Austell for me."

The room was beautiful, clean and well supplied with coffee tea etc. We used to stay at the Penventon regularly 20 years ago and the standard has not slipped one bit. The reason for our visit was to meet with a lost member of family and she lived local to the Penventon Hotel so it worked out perfectly for us."

"Check in and reception brilliant, very helpful. Superior room booked and was huge and well fitted out. There is a pool, jacuzzi, sauna facilities with free towels . Parking was easy. The restaurant & bar was well managed by Will who couldn’t do enough for you. The main town is a 20 mon walk if your fit but there are some serious up/downhill routes which would require a taxi or vehicle for those with any issues."
