"When we arrived our room was hot and our AC was not working. That evening i reported it and maintenance fixed it within 20 minutes. Several guests were complaining about the luke warm water for showers. Our shower did not get hot."

"You really have to appreciate the Boardwalk and and know Ocean City to appreciate this hotel for what it is, there’s a lot of value here for families if you’re not overly picky about every detail. It’s so close to all the historical parts of the Boardwalk & right in the action, plenty of space on the beach. We sincerely enjoyed the energy of the hotel and the pool and hot tubs! Watching the sun go down from the pool was definitely a highlight. We did get just a pool view basic room with two double beds for four people lol, so I do suggest, if you’re looking for more space, definitely upgrade. This was a last-minute addition to our trip but we made it work and it was a great memory! The teenagers really loved the little coffee shop! My husband enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby. It really is a great little spot! Ocean City hands-down is the best beach on the East Coast unless you’re going all the way to Florida for clear water and paying a lot more money! We had an attitude of this is a bonus to our trip so all the little quirks of the hotel were actually very comical and we enjoyed it!"

"So, to be upfront: the property is dated. There are no two ways around that. Carpet everywhere, somewhat worn furnishings... if you are looking for the most up-to-date place to stay, look elsewhere. On the other hand: the staff was terrific. From check-in to everything else, they were very helpful. The room itself is nice, too. The kitchen works. The fridge and freezer do their job. The internet works, and the TV works... and our balcony view of the ocean was great. The location, too, is excellent: out the middle door in the back and in 10 minutes you can be set up on the uncrowded beach, catching rays and swimming in the waves. The unique amenity of the parrots, fish, and reptiles in the atrium is charming. My 18-year-old son, in particular, was fascinated and delighted by these beautiful birds... some of which, yes, can "talk". Really neat. You are near excellent restaurants and activities; we walked to an excellent meal outdoors at the Bad Monkey. The Fractured Prune is on the way, if you want donuts. There are indoor games to play at Alley-oops, and minigolf nearby, too. A GREAT place to stay for the price. Will do it again!"

"Sparkling Clean room! That was great to walk into! Staff was nice and helpful! Breakfast could be better, but it worked. Frozen breakfast sandwiches, pancakes that were meh, packaged oatmeal, cereals, muffins, bananas. Lots of carby options. Would be nice to have more protein options and fresh fruit. But overall, we would stay here again!"
