It’s quite the uphill walk to get here but the views were worth it. Facilities were clean, rooms are on the small side and hotels in a suburban and quiet area. Service was good and gave an overview of sights in town and the bus service. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - reasonably priced (compared to area and country), great quality and excellent portion sizes. Loved the “game” menu with local dishes.

Loved the view from this property. Breakfast was great as well The improvement I suggest is better utilization or placement of the AC. In our room, a portable AC was placed on top of a table in front of the window. It was bulky and blocking the view and occupying the space. It was an eye sore.

The property is located about 15 minutes from the Lucerne train station. When we checked in, the registration was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They asked if we’re going to eat and when we said yes, they said they would have a table waiting for us in the attached restaurant. The room was large and very clean. Beautiful views overlooking lake Lucerne. We were able to have a set on the outside patio which was fantastic. The only issue was the a/c unit. It cooled very well but it was a portable type and the exhaust hose came loose from the vent to the outside during the night and we didn’t realize what had happened and woke up to a very warm room. This was a fantastic place to stay. Very friendly staff in the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant offered very good food offerings for dinner with great wine offerings. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
