Before we arrived I sent message @ leaving our bags at hotel early in the morning(our ferry arrived at 6AM). Staff was quick to reply & gave us code for door so we could leave our bags. Checkin that afternoon was so fast & easy. Woman at desk was super friendly & helpful. I had issue with booking bus tickets & she helped me online & also called to busline- Much appreciated. Location was great- so close to the water and to the downtown. Nice to have a little kichen closet and the beds were comfy. Room had a good amount of space & loved having codes for entry so I didnt have to worry @ who had the key. Air conditioni g and internet worked well.

The hotel was well located and clean but since we arrived the wifi connection started to failed, got disconnected intermittently, we notified reception and they check with the company provider and said it was fixed but it stayed like that for the whole stay, they couldn’t explain it or fix it. Also, the first morning we woke up with construction noise at 7:30 am, message reception without luck and walked to the reception office but it was closed until 10am. The terrible construction noise continue the whole morning and they justified it saying the normal hours for construction there was 7:00 am!! They didn’t offer any apologies, solution or explanation or tried to compensate us for the disturbance during our vacation.

Nice new suites with a few extras

Candia suites is not really a hotel, more like a managed rooms block with daily servicing, Constantinas met us quickly when we phoned as reception us offsite, and took us through the very nice suite, very modern, from door opening to showers Etc - really enjoyed our bight there as beds were comfortable. Note that although transfers are offered to the airport they are not available to and from the port which is a 1.5km reasonably flat walk away

Hôtel qui de l'extérieur semble assez "classe", mais rien ne fonctionne vraiment dans les chambres. En arrivant, personne à l'accueil, il faut sonner pour qu'une personne vienne vous accueillir et vous expliquer le fonctionnement de la chambre. Ensuite elle disparait et vous êtes livrés à vous même. Premièrement elle nous explique que la clim s'allume automatiquement lorsqu'on ferme toutes les portes, mais le disjoncteur était coupé (il fallait y penser), nous avons du attendre le technicien. Ensuite dans la salle de bain, le ciel de pluie ne fonctionnait pas, il fallait donc tenir le pommeau de douche (pas pratique quand on à les cheveux longs). De plus, il y a un distributeur de savon, mais vide. Au final ça fait beaucoup de problème, mais personne à la réception ... Aussi il n'y a pas de consigne à bagage, il faut juste laisser les valises sous l'escalier (heureusement que nous étions les seuls car c'est tout petit) ...

The location is good, close to Harbour and city center. The room is stylish, but not clean enough. The drainage in the shower does not work properly. Water accumulates during shower, which is bit disgusting. The toilet stinks all the time even with the ventilator on. The door and wall is very bad isolated. I could hear any sound from neighbors. Of course the neighbors have very noisy children, who screamed in front of my door.

Good luck if you choose to stay here

The hotel contacted us to find out what time we would arrive. We responded and they read the message. Upon arrival nobody was there, we tried calling different phone numbers multiple times but nobody answered the phones. It was 34C and we waited outside for over an hour! Our clothes were completely soaked through with sweat. We had already purchased our milk, eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cheese, etc. from the supermarket. After over an hour in blistering heat everything had spoiled. The person who manages the building literally lives 10 metres away. And when they finally came to check us in they didn’t help with our luggage or do anything to make up for making us wait in the heat.

Plumbing issue so they rebooked us

I booked with Candia Suites but the day before our check in they called and said they had a plumbing problem and that they had rebooked us at infinity city hotel in a similar area of downtown so we actually never stayed here . Infinity city was amazing ! I would recommend it

Too expensive for what you get

We booked a suite that cost over $300 after taxes. They gave us a two room suite on the main floor with poor light, a somewhat odd layout, and finishes that should have commanded a cheaper price. Of all the places we stayed during our 14 day trip in Greece, this was the most disappointing. The photos online look nice, so maybe some of the other suites are better. But the rooftop area is really poorly kept, and it didn't include breakfast even though we paid quite a lot.

Kurzer (1 Nacht) Aufenthalt in Herakleion

Wir hatten eins von den kleinsten Zimmer für 2 Personen. Es war geschmacksvoll gestaltet und mit hochwertigen Materialien bzw. Möbeln ausgestattet. Viele schöne und praktische Details. Besonders schön und praktisch außerdem die begehbare Dusche. Platz ausreichend für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt (evtl. auch für 2-3 Tage); man sollte evtl. für längere Aufenthalte eins der größeren Zimmer wählen. Zimmer sauber und Klimaanlage in Ordnung. Wenn richtig verstanden handelt es sich um einen Stahl- Mischbau, deshlab ist die Geräuschdämmung zw. den Zimmer bzw. zw. Zimmer und Treppenhaus niedriger als die gewohnte, jedoch kein echtes Problem. Ansonsten nettes Personal; wir kamen ungefähr 3/4-Stunde vor der Check-In Zeit an (wissend dass wir ein bisschen warten würden), wir konnten dann aud der schönen Terasse warten und bekamen Getränke angeboten, bis unser Zimmer fertig war.

Heraklion hotel

Very nice, clean suite with a little balcony to sit outside. Close to the water. We had dinner at a lovely restaurant 2 blocks away. Shops also in walking distance.Indoor garage which was a commodity . Only problem was that it was very confusing driving & took a while to find the location.

They moved us in a different location, 10 minutes with car, without notification. The new room was inside the city, not next to the port like the one we booked. The room was big, clean, comfortable and brand new.

schönes kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage

Wir waren super zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum. Das Gute ist, es gibt eine Tiefgarage am Hotel, wo Reisende mit Auto bequem ihr Auto lassen können, ohne sich Sorgen über Parkgebühren und Langfinger machen zu müssen. Sehr bequemes Bett, wir hatten Zimmer A1 mit Blick in den venezianischen Brunnen. Die Zimmer sind sehr individuell und modern eingerichtet.
