"Nice remodel after the hurricane; the Tiki Bar was never replaced. The rooms are nice and the A/C works well. It seems the refrigerators were scaled down, but again no real issue. The problem with this hotel, even years later, is the simple things they could get right. Not having an icemaker for the entire hotel? No excuse for this - only one of the two elevators working? These were the reasons I stopped staying here a couple years ago, and the fact that these simple things are not addressed speaks to the lax standards of the owners. A decent place on the beach at a decent cost - too bad, because it could be a great hotel."

"The hotel was lovely. Rooms were comfortable. Pool and hot tub were excellent. The only real issue or complaints I have were the food was sub-par at the restaurants and bar and the shower in our room had horrible water pressure - it barely dribbled out of the shower head. For those reasons, I would most likely not choose to stay here again."

"The property was very quaint. It was a perfect location, which was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was great. You could actually make a meal in there and there was a full refrigerator including a freezer. Only complaint there was no pool. It was under construction due to the hurricane hopefully when we come back next year, the pool will be up and running. Will definitely come back. Staff was awesome "

"The place was filthy. Sticky counters, hair, debris, and dirt on everything. Smudges and fingerprints on all of the mirrors. The dishes had old food on them. The place was disgusting. That was the first room. We told the staff and they gave us a new room. This room was even worse with the dirt and had blunt rappers, rust stains on the countertops, more hair, etc. we had to wear shoes inside because when we were walking around our feet turned black like PITCH BLACK in less than 10 minutes. We probably should have left and gone somewhere else but we were so exhausted. We didn’t get in until after 11 so we just sucked it up and slept. The view from the balcony was nice and the bed was comfortable. That’s about all that we liked about this place."

"I booked this room and less then an hour later tried to move the date as i booked the wrong weekend. This weekend was prom and i hit the wring one. The hotel would not even respond to a message to even move the date let along a refund. Any response would have been curtious even if it was a no to everything . They simply ingnored me as well as the website i booked through. I sent several messages and no one would even respond. I find this very rude. I deserve at least a response. Yes, my mistake. I wanted to surprise my wife after all the stress of our daughter going through chemo and simply booked the wrong date that happened to be my sons prom.i tried to correct within 1 hr. Make sure u know who u book with some people have no sympathy. Even if they were gonna tell me no to everything i at least deserve a respone if ur gonna take my money for nothing.Terrible"

"Staff was awesome- super friendly and helpful from the valet to front desk to market cashier and patio bartender! Got upgraded to an ovean-front room with wraparound terrace, which was fab!! Room could use major upgrade. Carpet and couch were dingy and old (as in, we were careful not to sit on couch at all), but bed was pretty comfortable and sheets were clean and fragrance-free (bonus!) Felt like a 3-star resort, not 4. "
