"The resort is a beautiful property and we mostly had a pleasant stay. We stayed in the makai tower and shelled around 4-500$ per room. The rooms themselves don’t feel that worth, they are outdated and one can feel and see it. Everything’s functional though. The really annoying part is the longgg routes for people needing accessibility and mobility. People on the wheelchair have to take really long paths to reach somewhere otherwise their family members are left to lift wheelchairs and the person take stairs…we literally had to do it. For accessibility and mobility I’ll give this property 1/5. I feel self parking should be complimentary at such prices."

"Fantastic locatio, walkable to downtown Kona shops and restaurants. Great view and restaurant. Nice warm pool. Grounds and hallways, etc, were immaculate. Parking was across the street. Everyone was very pleasant. Rooms were large. The only reason why I didn't give a 5-star review is because our room smelled of mold. As a mold sensitive person, this was too much exposure for me over our 2 nights--likely due to carpeting and the humidity."

"There was a medium size cockroach inside the bathing tub and it was very stubborn to get rid of it. The front office lady blabbered something in her own accent was very hard to follow. Parking was a nightmare. You should know some gymnastics and know how to come out of the car after you parked in the tight spot. It's highly possible your car will get stuck and damaged. Good thing is it's nearer to the airport and restaurants. "

"I cannot begin to explain the EXCEPTIONAL service, amenities, accommodations and experience at this resort. We fell in love with Hualalai and will 1000% be returning. I came here with my husband for my 50th birthday and was treated with such kindness. The staff here are above and beyond and honestly, as a frequent Marriott Ambassador Elite traveler, I have to say that Marriott’s higher end brands need to step it up to match the class, ease, and care that Four Seasons has shown us. Look no further if you are deciding on which Hawaii island to visit. We are looking at property here already if that tells you anything!
