"Great location next to the yacht haven, with nice restaurants nearby. Don’t be tempted to park next to hotel to load/unload though. I did for 10 mins and picked up a £60 fine. The hotel has its own car park a little further down the road."

"This is a 2 star hotel yet the only drawback we found was the warmth of the rooms in summer. Given the sash windows I suspect it has listed building status and therefore not much they can do about it. However, modern fans can work wonders. Otherwise, it was a perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire."

"A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. "We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming and gave us some great advice on where to go. We only had breakfast in the restaurant so can't comment on dinner but it...

"I was really impressed with this hotel and felt it was good value for what I paid. When my brother and I arrived, the receptionist was very helpful and was also a good guide to the town. The room was very nice and it was lovely to have a view of the square without having paid any extra. Breakfast was also fantastic and is freshly cooked. We also had dinner on the first night which was brilliant. This hotel would be my first choice on my next visit to St David's."

"Scruffy / tired hotel. Metal covering for my door fell off when I put my key in the door. Minimal breakfast choice - wouldn’t let me order an omelette so I ended up with one slice of toast and a croissant because I didn’t want a full English or Kippers."
