Tucked away in Michigan's fruit belt, this charming small town boasts the John Gurney Park for lakeside picnics and swimming. Nearby, Silver Lake State Park offers thrilling dune rides and pristine beaches for sun-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We only stayed one night, as we were catching the Badger ferry early the next morning.
Everything at the property was great,
Lovely room and bathroom, and our hosts were so nice.

The Ludington House is old, swanky, and incredibly classy! Be advused that the house has no built-in AC. We were there during a freak heatwave, which made the rooms a little uncomfortable, though the staff provided us with air conditioners in the rooms. The whole building is a marvellous example of late 19th Centruy design, with lots of interesting and quirky rooms! The owners of the House were very friendly and accommodating, and also made us some of the best breakfasts that either of us ever...

A brilliant place to stay, very friendly staff and a brilliant breakfast. We took the attic room
as a family of 4 and it was just what we needed as a stop as part of a road trip.

We basically got in at 9PM and left at 4AM so we did not have the experience of all that was offered. The check in was good, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. It served our needs as we came in to take an early morning fishing charter.

Great choice for hotel stay. Indoor pool looked very nice but we did not use it. Location is excellent, very easy in and out. Room was a suite with 3 queen beds. Beds comfortable and room spacious. Bathroom private, all in one, sink area not separated from shower area. For the 5 women travelling together, we appreciated that.

Take a step back in time when you go thru the doors at Stearns. We loved that lots of old features had been retained and the lady on reception was really helpful and recommended a fab place to eat a short walk away.
The outside looks run down and needs a bit of TLC.
