"Das Hotel macht grundlegend einen positiven Eindruck. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt und die Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war zweckmäßig, wenn auch unsere Erwartung an tatsächlicher Größe, Modernität und Sauberkeit nicht ganz erfüllt wurden. In den Fugen im Bad hat sich Schimmel gebildet, der Spiegel war schlecht geputzt. Das Frühstück entsprach leider keinem Gegenwert von 21£. "The room was spacious and well appointed and the pub is in a fantastic central but quiet location. Highly recommend this property. Only complaint is that the pub and terrace are closed on Sundays which we hadn’t realized beforehand."

"Arriving is a little dodgy - we got there around noon, and had plans to meet friends. They wouldn't check us in, and told us if we got back after 11PM (when the pub closes) we would be unable to check in. They did hold our bags. This made us have to burn some time until 3PM when they could check us in, so we would have a key to re-enter later. Not super convenient. The room was 4 flights up, no lift, no offer to help with luggage, so if you are not pretty fit, look elsewhere. The stair was...
