"This was my second visit to The Lion. The hotel offers excellent service at a very reasonable rate. The staff are friendly and the food on offer is very good and at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"Very quaint and delightful hotel with a fantastic pub, staffed by some genuinely lovely people. The rooms were spacious, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and it was a great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it, will definitely recommend to friends."
"This is such a perfect place to stay, so comfortable, so peaceful and so beautiful. I loved hearing the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The room was super comfy, everything smelled so clean, fresh and lovely from the minute you walked in. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a lovely cooked breakfast and proper fresh fruit, not tinned. I would love to just live here never mind stay here again. "

Loved the extra touches like posh hot chocolate and biscuits as part of the tea and coffee supplies in room and water, milk and orange juice in fridge in room.

Location is fab. Right in the centre of Barmouth.

"Stayed on the ground floor. Had a double bed in one room with access to the bathroom. two singles beds sofa comfy chair, tv microwave fridge in another room and access to an outside large patio area.
Beds were very comfy rooms were clean, tea and coffee making facilities were supplied with a bottle of milk left in the fridge for us with 3 bottles of water. Breakfast was great fruit juices, cereals and full English cooked fresh. Will definitely stay here whenever I come back to...
"What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended! "
