"The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean a very new looking. The hot water didn't work Saturday night and Sunday they finally got it fixed Monday. They worked hard to get it working again. The refrigerator didn't work but we didn't let them know that because it was not as big an issue as the hot water. The hotel was very quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking area was well kept and safe. The hotel was a very good value for the area. The issue with the hot water was not the fault of the staff or Hotel. The did there best to get it working as quickly as possible."

"From the overall positive rating, I was expecting a somewhat nicer property despite the price. Everything functioned, but most of the facilities were in pretty bad repair and were very worn-looking. The elevator was paneled with plywood, the bathtub faucet pulled away from the wall when you tried to turn it on, the carpet was both sticky and sandy…stuff like that. So enjoy the price point, but expect a fairly low-level place to stay."

"I stay here every year, usually 2x a year, with my family. Weve always loved it, but since By the Sea Resorts bought Palmetto Inn too, it seems to slowly be going down. The staff is great. The room was clean. Really the only issue was that the mattresses absolutely suck. The pillows were equally as horrible & uncomfortable. Im unsure what happened, as the beds were great even as recently as October 2025. And as much as they've raised their prices, a decent bed & pillows shouldny be too much to ask for. The coffee is awful & so weak, I barely knew it was coffee. Only half the cable channels worked, the remote only worked the volume. Please fix the bed problems. Everyone will benefit from it."

"Staff was exceptional. Friendly and very helpful. Rooms were beautiful were clean and view amazing. Coffee available and breakfast was great. Our four legged family member also loved her stay there. Will definitely be our go too when we come back."

"The parking across the property is very convenient; however, it would be helpful to include a note in the reservation indicating that it costs $20. The same applies to the beach tent service. The third-party provider delivered excellent, five-star service, but I believe it would be good practice to include the cost of this service in the reservation details. That way, guests can be fully prepared in advance."
