"Sockerslottet is such a gem! Found this a bit by accident when I needed a place to stay during a work trip. I'm so happy that I did! I had a very nice welcoming, the room was both spacious, well-decorated and perfectly clean. I especially loved the "little extra", freshly baked cookies and coffee machine in the lobby. "The staff and the breakfast were wonderful. Although the self check in was new for me, there was an attendant available who was very helpful. The parking was not obvious at all, and the pay station did not accept my North American credit card, she pointed me to some free parking close by. Also in the morning she was extremely helpful with a personal situation. The property is outside of town, however close to many trails, and right beside the river. It was a very cost effective choice for us. The breakfast was fantastic, great food options - the health juice shots were a pleasant surprise and the coffee was amazing. Plus the view of the hockey rink was not expected and very nice touch for us Canadians!"
