Efficient cost effective city centre hotel

This a well sited very efficient city centre hotel at approx half the price of other options. Whilst the rooms are not spacious they are well fitted, in good decoration and condition-there is a large comfortable bar area where an excellent buffet breakfast is available.

Excellent hotel

Lovely stay at this hotel. Stunning lounge bar with super comfy chairs. Very warm welcome at reception. Self check-in machines were down, and a queue started to form but reception staff immediately brought out extra staff and got everyone sorted very quickly. Room (standard double) was a little small but super clean and had everything you could need. Parking was underground for a surcharge - beware height limit of 2m. Very fight car park. Would definitely stay again.

Really good hotel, will use again

Picked this hotel as a modern hotel, but avoiding large costs. The hotel lived up to what I expected and more. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bar and food area was bigger than expected. Only let down for me was the lack of evening food, only a selection of toasties. Would have been nice to have something more substantial, particularly on arrival.

Recommended!

2nd time staying here and its our "go to" hotel in Hamburg now. Always clean and the staff friendly and efficient. We highly recommend it! It's very near the river front and to plenty of restaurants and cafes. Probably about 30 minutes up to the main shopping area, although there's a U and S Bahn station close and that'll take you up there in less than 10. The hotel has an underground car park accesed just after the main entrance... dont miss it as its a one way street and you literally have to go around the houses to get back!

It was convenient for 1 day business trip. Location is great to stay away from the hustle and bustle of main city and harbour attractions but close enough to go on a stroll. Hotel is well presented, clean and cosy. Front office staff was happy to accommodate early check-in when I arrived at 1:30pm. All the staff were helpful and pleasant when approached; however at other times, when passing, it’s not common to receive a gesture. Lift was always fast and efficient. Bed and linen was fresh and comfortable. For late autumn, room was rather hot when entered due to direct sun but cooled with air conditioning. Breakfast spread was sufficient with two separate buffet areas. Relaxed sitting areas. Overall a pleasant stay. For longer stays, a small coffee making facility in the room would be appreciated.
