Good stay near airport

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The front desk was very friendly and helpful by taking delivery of our late luggage and arranging transportation to the airport.

Generally Good, but I wish few things could be better. Personnel was friendly. Room was clean and smelled fine. Room was actually small, (if you open your luggage at the floor, you won't be able to move through the room unless you take it away). Bed was not a proper "bed for two", that was a two single mattresses moved together so it had a gap in the very middle, not the best sleeping experience. Breakfast was 15euro per person, that's a little too expensive for what they serve in my opinion, but I still enjoyed it. I got charged for 3 euro few minutes after we checked out and left, no Idea why/what for.

If you need a cheaper hotel less than 5 miles from Hamburg airport this is your place. I paid about €40 less than other nearby hotels. For one person I had a ver small room but it had everything except a fridge. I had to have the Front Desk keep my insulin in their office fridge. Not a big deal. There is no dining anywhere close but except a Burger King and a McDonalds. Staff were helpful and spoke English. The taxi cost around €21.00 to the Hamburg airport at 6am. Don’t expect much from this place but it is clean, safe and a good stop for 1 night if you need to be close to the airport for a very early flight.

Terrible experience at this hotel

The rooms were so small my wife and I couldn't walk around the luggage towards the bathroom. No microwave, no fridge, thw room was not cleaned daily. the managers were not accomodating to requests as simple as warming a sandwich. Too much noise during the night from workers outside the building. All in all too expensive for the accommodations, service and location. Do not recommend it at all.

Zimmer war groß und in einem sehr guten modernen Zustand. Es gab aber keinen Kleiderschrank oder Nachttische mit Schubladen, also aus dem Koffer leben. Das Bad ist sehr klein und es sind nicht ausreichend Halter für die Handtücher.

Wir haben das Garner Hotel HH Nord für einen Familienaufenthalt genutzt und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel präsentiert sich als ehrliche und faire Unterkunft, die hält, was sie verspricht. Die Erreichbarkeit ist gut, was für uns ein klarer Pluspunkt war. Die Zimmer sind sauber, nett designt und überzeugten uns durch gute Bettwaren, die für einen erholsamen Schlaf sorgten. Wir hatten einen ruhigen Aufenthalt, was besonders angenehm war. Hervorzuheben ist das Personal: Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise waren alle Mitarbeiter äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und sichtbar daran interessiert, einen reibungslosen und guten Hotelbetrieb zu gewährleisten. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herzblut gearbeitet wird – das Wohl der Gäste steht im Vordergrund. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl. Es ist kein 5-Sterne-Frühstück, will es aber auch nicht sein, was völlig in Ordnung ist und unseren Erwartungen entsprach. Man wird satt und gut versorgt. Das Bad ist klein, was jedoch keine Überraschung darstellt, wenn man sich die Hotelinformationen und Bilder vorher anschaut. Es ist funktional und sauber. Zusammenfassend haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn man ein gutes Angebot findet, ist die Preisleistung des Garner Hotel HH Nord absolut fair. Ein empfehlenswertes, ehrliches Hotel mit herausragend nettem Personal.

Pænt og vedligeholdt hotel. Men morgenmad står til 6.30-10.00. Da vi stod klar kl. 6.30 fortalte kokken at de netop denne fredag først åbner kl 07.00. Vi kørte uden morgenmad da vi har planer andetsteds. Ved indtjekning kunne de ikke se at vi havde betalt for opholdet. Det kunne de heller ikke ved udtjekning. De vil undersøge sagen og kontakte os igen.
