Limited parking on a main road, however, staff assisted me in finding a place which was secure. Room was clean and tidy with TV and drinks making facilities. All in all a good place to stay near the Peace Hall and Shay stadium. Also close to centre of town.

Clean single room for an overnight stay, the hotel is literally opposite the railway station and Piece Hall and town centre are a short walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with some tic perhaps, but the rates are very reasonable and the bed was comfortable. Some rooms face a busy road so some traffic noise, but not too bad. Would stay again.

Staff were really lovely and helpful. A minor issue (lightbulb in main light had gone) was resolved in minutes. Room was clean and warm, bathroom was dated but clean and the shower was really powerful!
Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as my daughter is fussy!
The hotel is ideally located for the town centre, piece hall and eureka, and parking is a 1 minute walk away. Have seen lots of negative reviews of this hotel but honestly there was nothing wrong with it. I travel a lot for work and travel for weekends away with my 8 year old frequently and this was a perfectly acceptable room, with attentive staff. For the price it was brilliant!

The hotel is fine. It’s what you’d expect for the price. Dated and in need of some love but the staff were fab and it was two mins from the venue- all in all great stay.

The hotel is in a prime location for the summer events at The Piece Hall, with a bit of renovation and tidying up it could be a nice hotel
Perfectly located for the train station and theatre which we went to.
Hotel was very nice and welcoming, staff very friendly especially the lady at the bar.

Overnight stay for gig at Piece Hall
Perfect for visiting the Piece Hall. Staff friendly. Hotel very tired & only one member of staff running breakfast & the front desk.
This hotel literally could not be closer to the Piece Hall, which is amazing.
The bed was so comfortable, we had a great stay.

Does the job
Hotel is what it is. It’s a great location if going to piece hall (we were for a concert) close to train station and centre. It’s a no frills kind of hotel.
It did the job, room was dated but comfortable enough for a night.

Brilliant location for the town centre and Piece Hall. Everything you need. Clean comfortable bed, tea tray and tv but very dated. The bathroom lino desperately needs to be changed - too old to ever feel really clean. Parking close by and lovely staff. Thank you for a pleasant overnight.

Our stay was for two nights and was OK
Our stay was for two nights and was OK. Quite nice breakfast and good location from Rail Station. Very helpful staff. Only problem was there is no lift and quite a lot of stairs to our room. We would return again.

Hotel a bit shabby and basic but comfortable. Staff patient and friendly.
I love stopping here. Its less than a 2 minute from the train station and the Peice Hall, and a 3 minute walk to the shops and bus station.
The staff are lovely..
The rooms are comfortable. Nothing flashy as reflected in the orices

Good location
Good location, friendly staff. However, the room was small and in desperate need of an upgrade. The toiletries were minimal, a small soap and a small shampoo.
There wasn’t a lift, so luggage had to be carried up the stairs.
