The best hotel on LongSet Beach, unusually modern, lux looking finishes and sound proof rooms, small road into village between seafront rooms and beach but not a problem at all. You cannot see into the rooms. Interior rooms nicely located.

Stayed at Popppies for 12 nights - what a wonderful place. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful - starting right from the pickup from the airport with cold drinks and face cloths in the taxi. It is situated in an ideal location right on the beach in the middle of all the amenities - but sufficiently secluded as to believe you were in a little oasis cut off from the rest of the busy resort. Loved the little personal touches of the place and its uniqueness - would definitely recommend...

If you want to get away from Bangkok this is the closest, there are not many tourists, lots of landmarks to see and the prperty is run by great hosts. I will return

Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

Excellent hotel with brilliant staff! Massive pool and private beach with towels provided. Staff always on hand if you need any refreshments and more than happy to help. Great rooms, large, well decorated and complete with all necessary amenities. Restaurants were a little pricey at the hotel so ventured into town for dinner which was excellent - Crab House a must for any seafood lovers. Loved our stay and would love to come back!

What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. The villa was fully equipped with everything you would need along with special touches of oriental flowers and fruit. Water was placed in your fridge every day...

Amazing breakfast, food and drink throughout was great. Nice clean rooms, beautiful location an helpful friendly staff. Could not have asked for more and would definitely recommend

This is a lovely property with a great bunch of staff. Room was spacious and kept clean. It’s a bit further from fisherman’s village than I anticipated but exceptional we’re always happy to arrange a taxi for us . We ate lunch here twice and it was great, good quality and served with a smile.

Peaceful location, bungalow accommodation laid out in gardens blending nicely with nature. Well-kept beach, lovely pool, good restaurants, fantastic breakfast buffet. If I had to be picky the serve yourself coffee at breakfast was never hot enough and the cups were too small but we got round it getting the waiting staff to make Americanos from their machine behind the bar.

Best place to stay in Koh Samui. Fantastic rooms, hotel immaculate, staff so friendly, great choice of breakfast, Thai, European , British, and a la carte. The hot items for breakfast could be warmer though. Great beach location and the only place to stay in this area of Koh Samui

Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever it was needed. They have a great view from the beach, breakfast is delicious, the cooking class was really great fun and the private villas are incredible if you want to enjoy the privacy of waking up to your own swimming pool. The staff are really knowledgable about where to go and what to do in the area, and a special mention to the taxi driver who transferred us from the airport to the hotel and was a really great...

Many years, Banyan tree always look after us well. Extremely helpful staff, always make us feel welcomed. Great facilities. Mom and me enjoyed the yoga class. Dad enjoyed the beautiful beach. Thank you, banyan tree, gave us a wonderful quite family time.

We went here for our honeymoon and had an absolutely amazing stay - a beautifully designed hotel and spa and not too busy or crowded. Staff were extremely friendly.

Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious and we loved the nightly treats whether it’s a face mask or toffees. There is always an attendant in your block of rooms if you need extra towels or a quick refresh. We had such a brilliant time in Phu Quoc and loved this hotel so much. Staff were so kind and attentive. The pool and beach were lovely. Everything is easily walkable to from the hotel. Highly recommend.

I had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff made for an enjoyable time. Lovely room and pool with the beach close by. A large spread was available for breakfast. A very nice start to the day. Occasionally I found a staff member that could not grasp what I was asking in English. I treated myself to a manicure at the Zense Spa. I regretted my choice as I could have done a much better job with a pair of nail clippers.
