Beachside Resort Panama City Beach

"I enjoyed staying here. Great view of the ocean from the room. There was one incident of getting stuck in the elevator, but the staff got maintenance on it quickly. I was out within minutes. Didn’t have that issue at all the rest of my stay. The staff is friendly and helpful."

"This is an older hotel. The rooms have been somewhat updated. They are clean and function fine. It is just not fancy. But the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The couch is more institutional-like something you would find in a Dr. office. But put a blanket on it and it did it's job fine. The property itself could have used a little more cleaning as far as trash on the walkway etc. Parking is an issue but not horrible. If you have a long truck or oversized vehicle...don't even go into the garage in the basement. If you are used to fancy decorations this is not the place for you. If you just need a means to the beach and a clean place to sleep, it is perfect. Beach front road is very busy. But there is a light right in front of the property. That was great because you could easily pull out going either way. There are beach chairs available for rent at the beach. They are not included with the room. I paid around $50 for two chairs and an umbrella for the day. There are not a lot of chairs around the pool but they have very nice cushions on them and are comfortable. Overall I was pleased with our stay...especially for the cost. Under same circumstances I would probably stay here again."

"The rooms need updating, and the hotel is not very nice on the inside. If you’re looking for a better experience, the Hilton Garden Inn is a much better stay. I will never stay here again. I was falsely charged a $250 smoking fee after my stay. The hotel claimed a smoke detector went off in our room one time, yet it never went off again for the remainder of our stay. What’s even more concerning is that the detector is hidden behind the nightstand and does not make any audible sound, so there was no way for us to know there was supposedly an issue. I am not a smoker and never have been. I immediately disputed the charge with the front desk, but was told there was nothing they could do. No proof was provided beyond their claim, yet they still charged my card $250. I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never experienced anything like this. Being accused of smoking when I don’t smoke and then being charged without any meaningful way to dispute it is unacceptable. Very disappointing customer service and a frustrating experience overall."

"Room was clean and is all you need for what little time you will spend since its right on the beach. Pool is nice and there is food and drink available right there. There are local eateries on the same block so they are convenient.....overall a great place to stay for a beach hang!"
