"Excellent hotel with so many amenities. The view alone makes the stay worthwhile however the hotel also includes so many activities especially for families. There’s a large pool, a baby pool, and a heated jacuzzi for adults. There’s a bar, restaurant and store on sight. Perfectly located to downtown shopping and restaurant. Highly recommend this place."
"We have stayed here many times before but this was the first time we were disappointed with our visit. The property itself is good with comfortable rooms and a lovely outdoor pool. However, the service fell below what we would expect at this price point and based on our previous experiences. Each day at breakfast, we were not offered coffee as before, and had to make it ourselves. At one evening meal, we had to get a high chair for our baby ourselves despite asking the staff for it 3 times. I had arranged with the staff for a cake and candle for my wife's birthday in advance and this did not happen. I brought this to guest experience the next day who promised they would make sure it happened that night. It did not. We brought up all these issues on check out and were promised a phone call from a manager that day which again did not happen. We were left very disappointed with the level of service from an expensive resort and we will not be going back.

"Wasn’t checked in at the preferred reception for some reason ? Also the butler service was non existent in preferred club areas. Apart from that the hotel and service was excellent"
"No major complaints, everything great,
Minor issues, jacuzzi luke warm, onsite parking bonus but limited at night but managed to find some most days,
Hot Water markers on shower and kitchen mixer taps need relabelling clearly as hot water goes from 50c to boiling hot within 3 seconds of turning on so be very careful or will get scolded if you turn on hot tap mixer by mistake first as not labelled clearly hot from cold. Other than tgat, all was good to excellent accomodation and facilities"
"Lovely stay at Alexande Gala. Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of space at the pool, although sadly some people would claim their spots early and not appear until the afternoon. Staff were friendly and helpful, had an issue with being overcharged on checkout but this was later resolved. Food was OK, a good range but not always to my taste or very warm. Spa was lovely on an overcast day. Central location, just off the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants very nearby. Great spot to go for a walk to Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos. Only advice is to keep an eye on what you order, all purchases are added to your room and you pay at the end, you could easily overspend if you aren't careful."
"Highlights:
Great music, facilities, rooms, Pilates / Yoga classes and breakfast!
Lowlights:
All inclusive was more of a semi all inclusive, anything more than what your mum can cook at home you have to pay a premium for. Rooftop on the 16th isn't all inclusive at all, and if you like drinking past 12pm anywhere in the hotel you best get your wallet out because you should be in bed!
Don't go to the beach club for lunch, waited 45 minutes for 2 chicken wings.
Female waitresses at the Adults only pool need to learn how to smile. Proper mood hoovers.
Pool party on Friday was cancelled, but advertised all week in reception... don't do it that time of year apparently but maybe the waitresses couldn't be arsed. Played some beer pong instead and they then got a paddy on for ordering and drinking too much beer...
The hotel needs to hire some entertainment staff for around the pool during the day. Animation team or something to light the place up a bit.
Had a great time none the less, but thought it would be better."
"This Aparthotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Tenerife. The apartment is large, nearly all have a sea view (ours was obscured by tropical trees filled with beautiful tropical birds - a pleasant bonus). The pool really is filled with filtered seawater, which is emptied weekly, cleaned then refilled. When you swim out to the deep end (nearest to the coast line) you can see a beautiful view of Mount Teide on a clear day).
The entertainment team offer relaxing poolside group stretch/pilates sessions most days, with stunning backdrops of the ocean/ pool & mountain all at once. Some afternoon light fun activities for families which include darts, boules, aquagym and themed fun by the pool most days (weather dependent of course).
Excellent bus routes link this Aparthotel with the south airport (40 mins on the bus) which offers further routes around the island ((we took a bus to Santa Cruz for the day for museums and shopping & Playa de las Americas for sandy beach days ).
The aparthotel is very close to supermarkets, pharmacies, excellent cafe's. A 5 minute walk greets you with a small Marina filled with sea-view restaurants for locally caught seafood specialties. Make a little effort with the language and you will be welcomed with open arms (not a Brits-abroad town).
The aparthotel has a very small sandy beach next door which offers excellent snorkelling. The on-site restaurant has good quality food, evening live music and a really good daytime poolside menu."
"Santa Barbara is a lovely accommodation in GDS. great location and close to lovely places to eat. The room and complex was ideal. Very good. I gave 4 stars but would have given 5 if I didn’t need to contact for th bed change/towel change as they kept missing our apartment out. However then did the change the next day and they apologised for missing us twice."
"Great hotel. Room was beautiful - v spacious, clean and extremely well equipped with large terrace.
3 pool options. Preferred the main pool as the poolside bar there is great with good options for lunch. Entertainment was regular and the staff worked hard on this!
Not so keen on the 2pm foam party but that’s a personal preference!
Supermarket on site is excellent, gym/fitness centre is huge and breakfast has a wide choice. A very well serviced hotel .
Approx 15-20 mins walk downhill to the centre with bars/restaurants en route
Overall an excellent stay and I think this hotel would suit families with older & you get kids as well as groups of friends."
