Been having the most wonderful time at Casa Kali! The staff is so friendly, and the accommodations are so nice and spacious. I got a lot of help from Lupita’s specially, and I am so grateful for all of communication with Barrio Mexico.
Loved our stay at Casa Kali! The Mexican decor is very nice, and the rooms are clean, cute, and completely private—with their own bathroom. The neighborhood is very quiet and feels super safe, and we really appreciated the added security at Casa Kali. Plus, there are lots of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. I’ll definitely stay here again! also, si vas a el Registro Agrario, esta a solo 5 minutos caminando en la misma calle. Perfecto si necesitas hacer un tramite ahi.
I recently stayed at Hotel Casa Kali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel combines modern elegance with cozy charm, offering spotless, spacious rooms and tranquil outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality and exceptional service, making it a stay I can’t wait to repeat!
Casa Kali is a beautiful property right in the middle of colonia Americana. It’s a perfectly safe place to stay for a solo traveler, and the property is maintained very well by the house keepers. 10/10
We loved our time here. The property was so beautiful and we loved hanging by the pool or sitting up on the rooftop terrace. Was super convenient to have access to the shared kitchen. Really appreciated the rooms fan and air conditioning in the June heat.
From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful decorations. The common areas were filled with lush, vibrant plants, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. It felt less like a hotel and more like a stylish, urban oasis.
The location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the city's vibrant nightlife and dining scene. Being so close to Avenida Chapultepec meant we had countless options for dinner and drinks right on our doorstep, making it incredibly easy to go out and experience the local culture.
Our room was everything you could ask for: comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. After a day of exploring, it was the perfect retreat to relax and recharge. The staff was also very friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible.
Overall, I highly recommend this place.
Safe, cozy, no frills, and absolutely lovely overall. All staff were responsive and very kind. This is not a traditional hotel, and is best for those that don't want all the fuss of a front desk, etc. The roof terrace and shared courtyard spaces are really nice. Requests are very accommodated if you communicate via WhatsApp. Bring eye mask and ear plugs though if you're a light sleeper.
First floor sometimes noisy with barking dogs hotels .no place. To hang clothes in my room
Hotel.com told me I had to pay for 2 people because that was only thing Ava. My room was a shoe box my friend booked through Expedia and got a bigger room and paid for one person All emails were in Spanish I don’t speak Spanish what a headache. Good location ,save all emails you need your code to get in . Uber picks you up at gas station outside the airport , it’s 2block walk, there’s a little mini pool in court yard with cold water to soak your feet after walking around all day. lots of great restaurants at great prices in area felt very safe never had a problem
beautifully appointed rooms and property, with lush foliage, a dipping pool and the convenience of common areas for cooking/dining or just waiting for your uber. Immaculately clean!
Trendy bars, restaurants and cafes are steps away and open late into the night. Despite that, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet.
The free breakfast at a local cafe was a nice surprise, absolutely deeeelicious and served up by the warmest and most cheerful Erica.
I will return...and will bring an army of friends with me to experience this gem.
Apparently Barrio Mexico has 7 or so other similar properties in the neighborhood. I ate breakfast alongside 2 other people who were each from a different property and both had the same wonderful comments about their "Casas".

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Room was as expected, bed was like double size USA mattress, staff very helpful carrying my heavy bags up 2 floors. Room did not have faciel tissue but there was abundant toilet paper. Perhaps face tissues not expected in mexico? AC worked great, took me a bit to locate the AC remote on wall near door. Was not aware is walk up only, they should specify in choosing room, no elevators in this property. Praise God He has healed my body and I successfully navigated the stairs carrying my ancient 20pound doggy several times each day.
The decoration of the property is gorgeous and the location of the property is walkable to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. The only little thing that I didn’t like was that there is no staff members in the property to ask any questions or resolve any issues.
Las instalaciones son muy bonitas, Lupita del staff es la persona mas amable y servicial y siempre con una sonrisa. Esta ubicada para irte caminando oxxo, cafes, bares, chapu.
Cama y muchas almohadas comodas.
