I talked with JM the receptionist about checking in a little bit early due to the bridal party leaving for the venue before check in could happen. "It wasnt the largest suite ive stayed in but it was large enough to feel spacious and i love the way they worked with the space they had in the room. It was my second favorite room ive ever stayed in, second only to a large penthouse suite i ended up getting by chance at a different hotel. And the pillows were amazing. And they only charged a small fee for incidentals when every other hotel nowadays wants to charge hundreds, sometimes more than the cost of the room and then often dont give it...
"Very good stay for me and my husband. This hotel has a lot of character because it is a historical building. The room was quite small (we had a regular queen room) but thoughtfully laid out.
We also loved the area in which it is located. Everything downtown was walkable, which is what we wanted.
One complaint - The continental breakfast was excellent but the coffee was not hot. I could have probably said something about this though. The staff is super attentive and helpful. "
