We stayed three nights at the B&B and did day trips to Catania itself as well as Syracuse. The host had some great recommendations and took interest in what we were planning and did. The location of the B&B is quite outside of Catania which also meant that dining options by foot were a bit limited. The breakfast was wonderful.

B&B Valle Allegra was a wonderful place to stay. It's beautiful, rustic and full of character. The place was clean, the shower modern with a rainfall showerhead while the rest of the place maintained an authentic charm. What made our stay extra special was the family who run it. They welcomed us wholeheartedly, made a fabulous breakfast, gave excellent tips for visiting Etna and places to eat as well as sharing wine and stories with us one evening. The B&B is a bit out of the city so I wouldn't recommend staying here without a car but there is plenty of parking and we had our own gate key to get in and out. Overall, this is a lovely B&B for a good price with a family that make it special.

It was an excellent stay in a lovely villa located on the outskirts of Catania, in a room with a private bathroom. It is a gated property with an easy parking and we even got our own gate opener. It’s a historic property run by a lovely duo of the mother and daughter, eager to share their suggestions on local restaurants and places to see. If you want to stay closer to Etna and avoid the traffic and parking hassle in Catania, this is a place to stay.

Location perfetta per visitare le bellezze della Sicilia orientale dimorando in una piccola oasi di tranquillità. Rende ancor più affascinante la dimora presso il B&B Valleallegra la gentilezza e la dolcezza della titolare, Signora Rita.
