"Unable to secure room with my visa. Had to call a friend to come there and use theirs. beer cost 2x more than downtown bars They try to keep selling you food at the bar with every drink. Even if you say not ordering tonight. Extra unexplained charge on the room on top of the room price... I wont be back."

"Lots of free parking. Room was very spacious, modern and clean with two queen beds and lots of counter space in the bathroom. Fridge and microwave in our room was great. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Restaurant and bar on site was a handy option instead of going out. Ice machine was on our floor which made it very accessible. Staff at the desk, at the restaurant and at breakfast were all very friendly."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Muir. The hotel pays attention to the little details, the rooms are beautiful, and even though it’s right on the waterfront it was surprisingly quiet. It never felt crowded, which I appreciated. We did have a fire alarm around midnight and everyone had to evacuate to the boardwalk. "Stayed ,1 night July 2026. Everything met our expectations. Windows opened to allow for a breeze. Could not find an elevator but we were on the 2nd floor so no big deal. Quiet, clean, great location. Parking spots on street were all taken so parked at the multistorey lot across from MEC. Very expensive - $32 for 16 hrs"
