"This is a beautiful B&B in a quiet residential area. The large garden is a perfect place to relax and defuse after a busy day. There is also a big public park a short distance away that has football nets, basketball, tennis, etc. The Holly Tree is walking distance from the bus station where there is a bus going downtown every 5 minutes. It is also walking distance from the medical complex, making it very helpful for the families of people in Addenbrook's or Royal Papworth.

However, the outstanding aspect of the hotel was the wonderful staff. Every person we dealt with from the receptionists, to the barmen, to the housekeeper delivered perfect customer service. "A nice, bright (double aspect windows) apartment in a very quiet close, on the edge of Cambridge.
Clean and fairly well appointed (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine, iron and board). No hairdryer as far as I can see. TV and Virgin box. Comfortable bed (I do hate poor mattresses) was a blessing.
I'm sure that before booking it claimed to have parking, because I declined several other properties because they had no parking. However in the confirmation they stated that parking...
"We were given a room at the front of the pub, above the bar. The pub is on a busy road junction and so there is traffic noise! It was hot so we had the windows open, it was noisy, however, the windows are double glazed and there were ear plugs provided. There’s no air con but there were 2 fans in the room. There were also plug in radiators, hair dryer, iron, full size kettle and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The room and bathroom were clean and well presented.
