"First room I had, had an issue with the door, staff immediately swapped my room! Staff were very kind and helpful, room had both a fan and electric heater which was perfect. Great food, nice pint selection. Excellent location."

"The room was spotless,spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. It had a very large shower and bath. Shampoo was provided along with body wash and bath salts. The towels were spotless.The room had everything that you needed such as tea and coffee, buscuits and a hair dryer. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. "Had a really pleasant stay at Gwydyr Hotel. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with spotless rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Just a small note that there’s no lift, but staff were helpful and everything else more than made up for it. "Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."
