"The staff are friendly and helpfully let me check out 30 mins later than their usual time. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. They had pastries last time that they didn’t have this time but still had croissants and basics. The room was nice and spacious and I slept well apart from the next day when they were doing some building work or something on site outside the room. The main annoying thing was no flannel, has to use a medium sized towel and when I got in the shower, I realised there was no shower gel as the bottle was empty. This was very frustrating and not much you can do once you’re in the shower. They are obviously updating the property and I would definitely stay there again"

"Nice refurbished hotel"

"Hotel itself was lovely and restaurant great. Plenty of breakfast choice. Well situated to walk into town centre as only a 2min walk and only 5mins from station. The reception staff all great and very helpful. Only problem we had were in the room itself and could be a one off in that specific room (305) where the plumbing on the toilet didn’t work properly and the television kept fuzzing over.Hopefully they are things that can be fixed as the rest of room and shower fab."

"Nice hotel with parking. quick & easy check in. Good sized, quiet room. Had iron & board which was good. My only issue was no bottled water or biscuits provided in the room, which I’ve found is standard in most hotels "

"Very stylish hotel, great location for local bars and centre. Parking nearby. Rooms large and very well equipped, very comfy and huge beds. Buffet breakfast is nice, very busy at peak times as you wound expect but great quality and loads of choice. Lovely rooftop bar/ restaurant "

"Staff were friendly and courteous. The hotel and our room were clean, updated and in great condition. The only ding is that our room did not have a smart TV or other viewing options outside of local TV channels."
