"Perfectly serviceable lodging for me, two kids and my mom, for three nights. Best thing about this place is the location. On the quieter side of GS, but near the harbor and ferries. Close to everything you want to see. Room is fine. Elevator to bring your bags up. Reception was polite. We didn’t have breakfast. Shower makes a mess (squeegee for floor, provided) but it didn’t dampen our experience. Well priced, excellent location, would stay here again."

"We were initially booked a room for about $370, we found out that the room didn't even have windows or a private bathroom, so we paid an additional $89.90 for an upgrade to get both. When we arrived, the upgraded room smelled absolutely disgusting. "I gave this same comments directly to the Grand Hotel when they also asked for feedback: 1) despite the high nightly rates, the cost DOES NOT include the spa or buffet breakfast. Both these are highlighed prominently by the hotel, but I’m sure others like me will presume they are included.
