"Excellent room amenities and probably the quietest room we have ever stayed in"

"We stayed here to visit the Christmas markets in Gamla Stan and it was great! Very easy to get where we needed to go and lots of dining options nearby. It’s truly in the heart of the old town. The building is old, which is fine, but the upkeep was lacking. That’s not a complaint, just an observation because truly it didn’t affect our stay. It just wasn’t the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The staff was fantastic. Helpful and kind. Getting there from the train was a bit tricky with our luggage. We took a taxi out which was a bit easier. We’d stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Gamla Stan. Go to House of Smörgåsbord for dinner just up the road. It’s the best local food we had in Sweden! "

"The location of the hotel was excellent as was the room and cleanliness. It’s a stunning hotel with great decor. My only small complaint was the bar. Packed until late on Friday and Saturday night so unable to use it, when we were able to get a drink on the Sunday the staff were almost rude, it wasn’t somewhere you could unwind at the end of the day. "

"Amazing historical hotel in the most beautiful location. Super easy to find and the staff were so sweet and beyond accommodating. We had a room with no windows but it was still the coolest stay we had on our whole trip! I highly recommend if you're into unique places to stay "
