Great location to Eyre Square and the bus station (we got the bus for €15 from Shannon airport to Galway) Approx 15 min walk.
We had a noisy neighbour but otherwise loved it!! Could do with aircon or a fan for the rooms when hot as we were sweltering. Windows only open a small amount due to safety latch. Reception staff were really lovely. Garage a 2 second walk for supplies and Tesco down the hill approx 10 min walk
I loved the layout of the room + the kitchenette was a bonus. Great location.
The laundry room was a wee bit creepy but the fact there was a laundry room was an unexpected surprise. The staff were very friendly & helpful.
I highly recommend Suite Galway.
Well placed for city and access further afield.
Not so good.
Water went off on several occasions in bathroom sink and shower
Shower curtain too short so water came over the shower tray.
TV worked intermittently
Rudely awakened at 6.00 am by incessant loud noise outside
The property is well located for transportation but quite a distance from the center city, more than I had thought. The room itself was rather small; the TV did not function properly nor did the kettle. Otherwise, everything was fine and the staff friendly.
Everyone that works there was very kind and helpful. The multiple fire doors are annoying. The rooms are basic, but we appreciated the kitchenette. The property is about a mile outside of the city fun.
Exactly what I expected of student accommodation, and exactly as described. Great budget choice if you dont mind the 12 minute walk to the city centre along the main road. It was nice to have cooking facilities and a fridge. The wifi worked just fine. Very happy with my choice.
I have worked in restoration and remediation. The building has mold. You smell it the moment you walk in. I almost cancelled my reservation on the spot but I arrived in Galway late and was only staying the night, so finding another hotel in the eleventh hour was not something I was ready to tackle. I strongly advise that Swuite hire a mold remediation expert to inspect the building. I was in room 0.05
Clean and comfortable rooms, little bit out of town centre, requiring car or uber to access town centre about 10mins drive. Staff helpful

The place was spacious. The utensils were there. We felt it could have been cleaned better. One of our group members got bit by bed bugs at night. Reception was kind and attentive.

Staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful at this property but it wasn't exactly as expected. We didn't realize this was an off-season student housing property until after we arrived, so I would not book this if you expect the amenities of a full-service hotel or for everything to be clean to hotel standards. Our suite wasn't dirty per se, but the walls were grimy, the kitchen cupboards were chipped and sticky, and there was water damage and missing tiles in the bathroom. It's a bit further from Galway City Centre than we would have liked, but that's our lesson learned. There was also a strange €10 deposit for a hair dryer which is standard issue in hotels. But, if you are looking to save some money by making your own meals there is a small but serviceable kitchen with a Tesco within walking distance. My advice is just to know what you're booking.
