"The Perestrello has recently been refurbished and our room on the 2nd floor of the annex was lovely. The bed was comfy, the room had plenty of storage/hanging space, a good size safe, small refrigerator and quiet air conditioning. The bathroom was spotless with a walk in rain fall shower. Our room had a balcony which got the sun until early afternoon. We used the pool in the garden as well as the one in the adjoining (by a short bridge) Miramar. "This is an ideal hotel for those seeking a quiet restful location away from the busy large hotel experience. The staff are amazing, and the tranquility of the gardens wonderful. The garden rooms are getting tired and need a refurbishment which apparently is happening in a few months time. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is exceptional, and the location of the hotel is ideal for walks either to the Port and center or away to the promenade, the lido and rock pools. "Exceptional hotel. location was great. Very clean and modern. the staff went above and beyond and gave us an early check in when we arrived. One of the best complimentary breakfasts with a ton of variety. We loved the heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Overall we can’t say a bad word about it. We would def come back!"

"Schöner Außenpool (nicht beheizt), hübsche kleine Anlage, Zentrum fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 500 Meter den Berg runter vorbei am Hafen durch einen schönen Park). Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer, aber gut ausgestattet. Für einen Städtetrip als Familie zu empfehlen."
