"I normally do not stay in a hotel below 8/10 and now I know why. If this was not work related and having to stay in budget I would have left. The check in attendant would not get off a personal call in order to check me in. I got to my room, the TV did not work, two lights did not work, the phone to call the front desk did not work. The room was on the 2nd floor and it was as far away from the elevator as you could get. I took all of my belongings and went back to the desk where I had to yell "Hello" twice before anyone came to the desk. I told him my issues and he proceeded to tell me there wasn't anything else available, they were booked. Even though there were literally 10 cars in the parking lot when I arrived at 6:30 pm. I said "you are telling me there is no other room that perhaps the TV is working and the phone is working that has adequate lighting available because you are booked and there are 10 cars in the parking lot. Sooooo he "found" me another room on the first floor and then proceeded to tell me it will cost 5 dollars more. I don't care. The five dollars, whatever, but to even charge me that to accommodate the fact there was no working TV or phone was not customer friendly . The lobby will deceive you. "
