A beautiful view with the best sunrises above the ocean. No better way to be woken up in the morning. The cube was very clean and cozy and the balcony had a perfect size. We enjoyed our stay very much. In the kitchen we missed a dish towel to dry the dishes. A few things like the gaps between the bathroom tiles or at the jacuzzi need some renovation. But this is only a small thing.

Poor communications!

I booked thru hotels.com. i received a confirmation for 3 nights in Dulce Cabana. communications was horrible. Spent arrival evening trying to figure out where to park and where our cabana was located. No manager on site, no map provided. Next day we were told we had to move to different unit by midnight. Finally clarified by noon. I questioned why we had to move. Manager blamed expedia for miscommunication. Spent hours trying to sort this out. Finally agreed to cancel 3rd night and paid for2 plus a fee. Horrible customer service. No effort towork to solve util i asked todpeak with his boss. We paid a premium to stay in this property to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. Both days there were anything but relaxing.

Good views, BUT…

The view was “mostly” beautiful and we appreciated the complimentary small bottle of sparkling wine and the bath salts on the hot tub ledge. We had a great hot tub! HOWEVER, we had a very time finding the Cabanas since Hotels.com, Apple Maps, and Google Map all had it wrong. We tried communicating with the owner and had a very hard time since she doesn’t speak English. She sent us a pin for the address, so that finally worked. None of the check-in instructions were in English, and there were no English channels on TV. For non-Spanish speaker like us, this may not be the place for you. The view was gorgeous from the left side of the cabin, but the right side was blocked by the cabin in front of us. We had the last cabin available (Dulce), which was the last one to be built, so the others may have better views. The pool was green and had a lot of algae. I wouldn’t swim in it! The water pressure in the cabana was very low, which impacted the shower and how long it took to fill the hot tub. It had kitchen utensils since it’s an apartment, but no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, or breakfast. Since it was Sunday and markets were closed, we couldn’t take advantage of the kitchen. The price was much higher than hotels that offer more (shampoo, free breakfast, etc). For all those reasons, I hesitate to recommend it at this price.

Staying in the Cabañas is like living a dream. My husband surprised me for my birthday and it was the most perfect setting for the most romantic and beautiful day! The place is like something out of a story book. The views are incredible and the service is amazing! The restaurant was closed due to Covid but they brought the food to your cabana and that just made it even better! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! It’s a must stay! We are already planning a return visit!

La ubicación de las cabañas y el diseño es espectacular. Lamentablemente la atención por parte de los dueños no. Estuvimos todo un día sin agua por culpa de una avería, y no tuvieron ningún detalle con nosotros por las molestias ocasionadas. Además el último día, trajeron el desayuno solo cuando se lo recordamos, ya que se olvidaron del mismo.
