"This was my second visit to The Lion. The hotel offers excellent service at a very reasonable rate. The staff are friendly and the food on offer is very good and at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel."
"This is such a perfect place to stay, so comfortable, so peaceful and so beautiful. I loved hearing the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The room was super comfy, everything smelled so clean, fresh and lovely from the minute you walked in. The breakfast was absolutely incredible, with a lovely cooked breakfast and proper fresh fruit, not tinned. I would love to just live here never mind stay here again. "

"What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. "Booked this hotel for a weekend due to location to Watkin Path. Staff so kind & helpful, Rooms clean & tidy with ensuite bathrooms including baths in two out of 3 rooms booked. Use of lift to rooms. Breakfast selection plentiful and hot, evening meals superb & well priced. Hotel also offers a cool room to store food & drinks for your climb, as well as offering a snack pack to buy for your day out. The Goat Hotel is based in Beddgelert & walking distance to amenities. "Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch.
Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean.
The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons..."
