Super hotel, great breakfast!

Super hotel with a great breakfast, nice bar and helpful staff. We had Room 21, up on the second floor - a great big room with a fantastic view over the bay.

Stayed at this lovely hotel on business. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. We had our evening meal there and the food was excellent, good value too.

Wonderful short stay

Although it was a short stay we had a lovely time in this gorgeous hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the staff so helpful. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and we had both an evening meal and breakfast, would highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We will be back

Superb service from this family run hotel, we were really made to feel at home. Only stayed one night business, but we are going to come back later in the year for a long weekend. The food was excellent, room very clean and super view of the sea.

A great spot to unwind

Just a 2 night stay visiting family. This is a family run hotel where they care about their property. All the hotel, guest rooms and public rooms are spotless, welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast choice and quality were excellent.

We loved this little spot up the hill from a National Heritage trail overlooking the English Channel. Wonderfully friendly staff and great food. Be aware that the roads are very narrow and you are better off walking down to the beach via the footpath that we didn’t find until the way back up.

This was a lovely place to stay. The hotel was set in a very peaceful location with stunning views out across the ocean. Our room was very well equipped with a lovely well supplied bathroom. The view from our room was amazing as too from the gardens and restaurant. The staff were extremely professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also amazing with cereals, toast, juices, tea and coffee all served with an English breakfast. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to any of my friends or family and I would definitely be staying there again. Many thanks to all the staff that made the stay so pleasant

This property is positioned brilliantly for access to Maenporth, Bream Cove, Famouth and Mawnan Smith. The rooms felt like bedrooms rather than a hotel, and the space was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast orders are taken the night before and the buffet elements were ready and waiting for us on the table at our chosen time, with the hot food and drinks delivered afterwards. A perfect stay with a laid back family feel and incredibly polite staff. Will definitely be back again for our next visit to the area. X

A little gem

Booked an over night stay so that we could drop our daughter at uni. Very helpfully they take coupons (converted from TESCO rewards). A little further out from Falmouth than we anticipated but well worth the extra 10 minutes. The décor, cleanliness and friendliness were outstanding. The breakfast fabulous. It's a quiet hotel and you had to ring the bell for service (it's a family run concern and everything appears to be "in house" as they were doing various jobs around the hotel) but we never waited long to be attended to. In the morning (we arrived quite late) we realised what a fabulous location it is in. We will be back and cannot recommend this little gem of a place highly enough.

Expedia handled our reservation. Fees advertised were very reasonable and accompanying photos secured our decision to not bother wasting time with "comparison shopping" in the area. The description of a King Bed with Seaview was accurately provided by Trelawne. Our room was a comfortable size with ensuite tub and shower combo. Excellent Cleanliness. Top Quality Linens & Mattress. Garden & Seaview, including Cows Grazing was Idyllic! My husband and I ate dinner and breakfast at Trelawne and agreed the food preparation, as well as plate presentation, was of high caliber! The Dining Staff was very professional in attending us throughout the courses. The many large windows in the Dining Room gave every table in the room opportunity to enjoy views. The location of this hotel was perfect for our Cornwall exploration. We would definitely use Trelawne again if revisiting this area. Thank you for making a Lovely Memory!
