"This hotel is quaint and charming with very attentive staff. The restaurant food is superb! It is near train tracks but the windows close out the noise perfectly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is that it is not in the main town of St.Goar. This isn’t a problem if you have a car or bike. We thought we could walk it but we underestimated how far it is. We had to rely on the local taxi and while very efficient, it cost us 18 euros every trip (each way)...

"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there.
Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; most places in town only take cash; breakfast is only offered on weekends; coffee is for sale by machine but it only takes coins. "

"We stayed in a separate place a short walk from the hotel. A beautiful, large living room with a gorgeous view of the water. Loved how quiet it was there and the walkability of the town to go eat dinner. Would need a car to drive to other towns instead of taking a train but I can't really give opinion on train accessibility since we had a car."
