"Beautiful hotel situated within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, gondola rides and some sites (including the salt flats). Breakfast was standard, but tasty and perfect if you don't have time to go out to eat."

"Very central. Easy walking distance of all the sites. Staff bent over backwards to be helpful even offering biscuits and water for the journey as we were leaving. Excellent buffet choice of breakfast and option to order from a menu. Being offered a snack (cake) late afternoon every day we were there and a cocktail and cheeseboard one evening were unexpected bonuses."

"Staff were the best part of the hotel. Very friendly and accommodating. We checked out very early before the breakfast time started, but the reception staff was kind to bring us coffee and muffins to me and my family. Overall the rooms need a refresh because it’s dated and old. It’s a convenient location as it’s 10 min walk to the train station and Aveiro town."

"It is a clean and nice hotel however they do not provide enough soap. 1 little thing of gel for 2 people. Appalling! When asked where the slippers were and robe the reply was it has not come in yet. The breakfast is nice and clean. The water pressure is bad. It takes so long for the water to drain. The location is awesome."

"The breakfast buffet in the beautifully tiled room was wonderful. They had so many choices of food, fresh and constantly replenished. Coffee and juices if your choice. The staff there are super warm and accommodating. They did a great job. Also the front desk staff were very welcoming and helped us navigate a more comfortable room. They held our luggage after checkout while we roamed around and gave us recommendations on where to go. All in all, the best service."

"The Air conditioning in our room was not working, we were forced to sleep with the sliding door open. Between the noise from the street below and the kitchen right next door, we were unable to get much rest."

"Check-in was good and front desk staff that helped me was very nice and informative but the following days I just didn’t find staff to be kind or helpful. I appreciated the breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great! Walkable to city center!"

"The place is nice, but small and almost claustrophobic. The bedroom has a window into a hallway and not outside.. There was a chat box communication only, we wanted to do an earlier check in , no answer. The fire alarm went off and stayed on for over 1 hour without any communication in the middle of the night."
