"When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

"A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning! "Good location for visiting WWII sites. Outside of city center, close to main roads. No elevator, so this means lifting your luggage by your self up the stairs if your room is on the first or second floor."

"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"Very clean, modern hotel. Very comfortable and cool with air conditioning, during a heat wave. Hot shower felt amazing after a long trip! Delicious breakfast in the morning with many wonderful options! Highly recommend Holiday Inn Express, Caen!"

"Young and very polite French lady on reception spoke English. Any criticism is our own fault. We paid for the lowest price room which didn’t include air conditioning. Just check you are paying enough for your room to include it if you want it. USB charging ports weren’t available. Top tip though. Most TVs have USB ports which you can use to charge your phones."
