"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat! Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay. Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "

"All of the staff we interacted with could not have been more helpful, especially the receptionists. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed breakfast in the terrace in the morning and the bar in the evening! It’s perfectly located to explore Edinburgh and has loads of easy transport links nearby. Would definitely recommend. "
