"Staff here are wonderful, it’s incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep other than this everything was great. Food well presented and tasted soo good. "

"This is located almost on a roundabout of a major road, however, it wasn’t noisy at all. Close to stone henge and literally across the street from a restaurant pub. Great people. The site itself is a little muddy due to some construction happening but I’m sure it will be fine in the summer time. "

"Renovated hotel with large rooms and easy free parking. However, the receptionist was not very inviting and the room was cold when we arrived. Warming it up took a while to work it out. The bar was only partially manned and breakfast was plentiful but missing orange juice."

"This was lovely in many ways. My room was spotless and spacious, Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a reasonable choice. The new season has maybe not kicked in as some of the outside areas could do with a little tidy up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth noting that there are few public transport links to the local towns and seemingly none before 9.30 am or after about 7 pm.,"

"So homely! Even though it wasn’t a walking distance to the High Street for us, we loved everything about it ! The room had 3 beds, very spacious, quiet, clean amenities and super comfy bedding. My mother-in-law had breakfast and she was very happy with it. We will definitely stay again when in Salisbury and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. "

"Great place if you want close to the railway: just across the street and around the corner. Very clean, room was small but comfortable, very clean. It did have too much of an air freshener odor so we hid the freshener sticks and didn't use the smelly soap. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and they stored our luggage in the early morning because we went to Stonehenge. I'd stay here again."

"Amazing place to stay. Everything was perfect. Room was beautiful and really spacious and cosy. Nicely decorated and loved the small touches. Had dinner which was really good. Possibly one of the best places we have stayed in UK. Will try and get back for a few nights again"

"The hotel has been recently refurbished and was delightful and the bedroom excellent. The staff were so helpful and to park in the hotel car park was a bonus. Just a short walk into Salisbury was perfect. The only downside was the hotel restaurant as the food was very disappointing. The food had obviously been frozen and did not resemble the pictures on the website. There was only one other couple eating there so maybe other guests chose to eat locally. However I would recommend staying there...

"The building is centuries old, so keep that in mind. The stairs are not always level, but they manage to provide modern amenities. The restaurant is a favorite among locals for good reason. And the House is across the street from the cathedral. So convenient."

"Friendly and helpful receptionist on arrival and also the next day. My single room was clean as was bed linen and towels. Room not large but more than adequate for an overnight stay. No dinner served in the hotel but they are happy to recommend local eateries of which there are many. The hotel does have a bar which was open for 4 hours in the evening. Breakfast was buffet style with a selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and cooked. They cook your eggs to your preference eg poached, fried...
