"I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. The hotel gave me the peacefulness and calm I needed before my flight home to Los Angeles. The village it is in is just beautiful with tons of restaurants and the famous Gibney's bar. "The room was very clean and comfortable bed. Nice walk in shower with plenty of good hot water pressure. Fridge and kettle with coffee/tea and in-room iron with board. Restaurant was very nice with good food."

"Hotel was great overall. ONLY issue was how small the room was. I've stayed in other major cities with hotels in older buildings, and what I thought were small rooms, but this one was the smallest. No where to put luggage or get ready besides the bathroom. Not a huge issue because we weren't on Dublin to hang out in the room, but it was frustrating at times. Would still stay here again though."
