"Room was clean and comfortable air conditioner worked perfectly. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We love this hotel and stay here whenever we come to Dubuque."

"The room was clean, outdated, states there was a shuttle but no staff available when I wanted to use it. The pillows on the bed appeared dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke."

"Very charming place with service in the superb range. The owner Robert, was very helpful and engaging."

"It was attached to a casino which I wasn’t interested in. The attached restaurant was not open the night we were there so that was disappointing. But the breakfast (for a fee) was delicious. The staff was helpful and nice. The room was clean although it was short on lighting. All in all, I would recommend to a friend"

"They don’t allow your family who lives in town who we were visiting to come and visit you and use the pool. They don’t allow it. It was absurd. Also got into the room look like the roof or ceiling I should say was going to cave in it had so much bad water damage in the lobby. The roof was actually leaking and my son got wet going into the lobby men’s bathroom."

"Overall, we had a great stay. Beautiful home with wonderful views. The breakfast was okay."

The only hot items for breakfast were toast or waffles. And you need to wait 2 1/2 minutes while your waffles get cooked. I just expected more than that."

"We stay here every time we go to Galena always clean, everyone is friendly and breakfast is really good. Last few times we went the lounge wasn’t open not sure why"

"Good, clean room. Walls as thin as paper, could hear everything outside my room. Power went out and the microwave kept beeping making for a miserable night sleep"

"Great historic B&B. Highly recommended!"

"Great location and themed hotel"

"Location was the only positive thing everything else sucked"

"This place shouldn’t be an option on your site. Barely any staff. Brown water comes out of tub faucet before it clears. Dirty drain stoppers lying out of drain across the drain. Shower head loose from wall. Poor water pressure. Patio door doesn’t lock, so a contraption to put in the door to keep it locked. The screen door falls off the track. Weeds all over parking lot. Ice machine broken. Only one desk chair. Big empty space where a bigger chair should be. We think we should get a refund! I’m...
