"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was also excellent. The meal was amazingly priced for 3 courses and the chief made the pudding from scratch. I would absolutely go back again and even if we disnt stay the night i could eat the chiefs food all day long every day"

"the reception staff were welcoming and informative, We had a clean, spacious bedroom with all the facilities of coffee, tea, TV etc. The breakfast selection was good, although they had run out of bacon half an hour before breakfast was over.. The hotel is located near a bus stop into Lichfield city so it was very handy for us."

"The staff were warm and welcoming on our arrival. One of the rooms in our party was for a person with an electric wheelchair. The accessible room was perfect. There was room around the bed to get around and the bathroom was petfect for transferring. The other rooms were laid out for comfort and convenience. There was even a fridge in every room, which we all loved. The air conditioning was perfect for me as I like my room cool to get a good nights sleep. My only criticism would be the...

"Definitely the staff on reception! We were checked in by a lovely lady whose name I didn’t get and checked out by Dom! Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and great with the kids. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Really nice looking property with easy parking. Food was excellent and location was out of the way quiet but still easy to get to. Some negatives was that the matteress was old and soft so you rolled toward the center and one of the receptionists had limited people skills. No conversation loke 'good morning, how was your stay.... anything and one of the advertised benefits of that roaring fire was not kept alight so any though of having a drink after dinner infront of it ..you can forget....

"My friend and I had a lovely stay. Room was spotless. Bed was so comfy, shower huge. Used the spa facilities, which again was very nice, not too busy, only negative was would have liked robes in the room. It would have been good if the bar stayed open afer 12 though as would have enjoyed a quiet night cap after christmas party. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast in the morning was good, nice selection."
