The service was top performance both in the hotel and the restaurant. Even after closing hours, the kitchen stayed open and served one exquisite meal after the other along with outstanding wines, they make a wonderful experience and high performance in making close to Michelin standard in cooking and on top a highly experienced sommelier to ensure matching wines. Despite this they had a first class service towards very tired kids for the adults to enjoy the evening....

"Ein wirklich traumhaft gelegener Ort! Die Umsorge, die Anne und Philippe an den Tag legen, suchen ihresgleichen. Die Ausstattung ist in allen Belangen top. Zudem konnten wir unser E-Auto zu einem fairen Preis an einer 22 kW-Wechselstrom-Ladesäule laden. Wir konnten in den zwei Tagen, die wir dort waren, wirklich noch hervorragend unseren Frankreich-Roadtrip in Ruhe ausklingen lassen. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Sehr zu empfehlen!"
"We had a wonderful stay. Really nice flat, wonderful cosy place outside to chill in, wonderful staff AND some very good wines too. Nice and clean. Maybe the airconditioning could be better, and we would have liked the communication up to our visit to have been in English - they ARE very good at speaking English. Anyway, she wrote back instantly when we wrote her, having difficulties understanding what they had written in the first place. Minor things to be critical about - we had a great week!!"

"This is a "conditional" five, so as not to deceive you. Keep in mind that you are in a medieval Alsace town. Buildings were smaller then. Rooms were smaller. If you are looking for a huge American hotel room, those don't exist unless you go way outside of the town - and what fun is that?
The room was small. Parking was a 1 block walk, but was only $5 (approx)/day.
However: the room, while small, was very clean. AC worked great. Power was adequate, if just (a few more bedside outlets...
