It is a charming site

What a charming site. It is business since 1704, renovated of course but keeping a charming atmosphere. People there is friendly and helping. I arrived to hotel after hours and they made sure I was able to find my room key. Close to trial paths into the Black Forest if you like to run. A peaceful site. I can’t wait to return.

Ganz, ganz tolles Hotel!!! Familiengeführt und mit Liebe zum Detail. Dazu SUPER SAUBER! Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich und vor allem kinderlieb! Sehr zuvorkommend. Zimmer ebenfalls top und geräumig. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, wenn wir den Schwarzwald besuchen! Ruhig und Zimmer mit Rolläden. Danke und GROẞES Lob!

Mooi en schoon hotel. Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Uitstekend ontbijt. We hadden zachte matrassen, welle niet lekker sliepen. Kregen een andere kamer aangeboden. We waren tevreden met onze kamer. De matrassen zijn toen omgewisseld. Uistekende servoce

Tout était parfait, cadre unique et perfectionné dans les détails. Super petit déjeuner et personnel très acceuillant, même le chat (Felix). Petit bémol, si on peut réellement définir cela comme un bémol, ce serait bien de pouvoir se restaurer sur place le soir.

Einfach genial! Man darf den Hund sogar mit zum Frühstücksraum nehmen. Da die Hunde in einer fremden Umgebung vielleicht unsicher sind, und man sie ungern alleine im Zimmer lässt, ist dies super!! Vielen Dank!!!

Unique hotel, bedroom was a great size with a comfy bed. Fridge in the room wasnt working properley however we had our own plug in coolbox so we were fine. As the temperatures were very high we asked for a fan in our room as no aircon and a huge fan was brought which really helped to cool the room down No bar or restaurant and all the places to eat in walking distance were closed on an evening but we found a couple of places within a 15 min drive. Highly recommend the Toscana Pizza at the golf club and the greek taverna in the next town. Hotel had a help yourself beer/wine fridge which was great however not very cold!.

Extraordinary experience!

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Great play room for kids. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. You could spend hours just looking at all the interior details and themes. Highly recommended!

A medium sized hotel with lots of character, especially in the bar/cinema, & dining room; with a rich and eclectic collection of ornamentation. Alas, the clever technical novelties like a radio in the shower or powered pedal-bin did not compensate for soft and creaky beds, thin curtains, no blind over the velux roof light, and bedside light fittings right where you can easy bang your head. Great Hotel for Young Families

What a fun and unique hotel! The kids (ages 2 and 5) absolutely loved it! Our room had bunk beds and a race car bed! Our 5 year old said he wants to live there forever. Great place for families!
