Visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, where Disney magic meets Mother Nature. While watching elephants meandering across the Sahara and tigers stalking through the jungle, you will feel miles away from Orlando. This popular park in the Walt Disney World® Resort family delights visitors young and old.
Begin your tour at Discovery Island. If you are a Disney fan, you will immediately recognise the area because of the massive Tree of Life® Attraction rising from its centre. If you want to do some shopping or have a meal or snack, this area will meet your needs. Afterward, get close to the world’s smallest creatures in the 3-D film It’s Tough to be a Bug! Attraction.
In Pandora - The World of Avatar, journey to an all-new, awe-inspiring land that celebrates the magnificent power of nature. Here you can fly on the back of a mountain banshee during an exhilarating 3-D ride in the Avatar Flight of Passage™ and glide down a gentle, mysterious river and feel a sense of wonder as the full beauty of Pandora reveals itself on the Na'vi River Journey™.
Come to Africa and be transported to a savannah filled with lions, elephants, giraffes and other exotic animals. This remarkable recreation of an East African village really makes you feel like you’re on a safari.
Asia® Land takes you to an equally unique imagining of a jungle village near the Himalayas. Take a trek through the jungle or splash your way through the Kali River Rapids® Attraction.
Enjoy a thrilling ride on the Expedition Everest® - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain® . The roller coaster starts off slowly and accelerates to provide a satisfyingly wild ride.
Go back in time at DinoLand U.S.A.® Area. Take part in a fossil dig or race against the impending asteroid in the ride of Dinosaur Attraction.
The theme park is open daily until mid-evening. Find it in the southwestern corner of Walt Disney World® Resort. By car, reach it in 15 minutes or less from any other part of the Disney complex. Parking is free for resort guests.
Make sure to wear comfortable footwear for your visit. Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is sprawling. Plan for lots of walking if you want to experience all the park’s sights and thrills.
