"The check in was quick and easy, the room was superb and plenty big enough with a writing desk, coffee table and chairs and a superb bathroom complete with a bath. I dined in the evening, the food was first class, as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent. One minor criticism is that an omelette was the same price as a full English. I had that as I wasn't hungry enough for a full fry up but didn't want continental. Parking outside is also problematic. There is some short term parking very close but the main car park is a few minutes walk away and 'pay and display' so the cost of that needs to be factored in to the overall cost of a night stay. Overall I would recommend it and be happy to stay there again."

"Stayed for 2 nights with my family. (Just a quick getaway). Our stay included breakfast and the use of their leisure facilities which was great. Our room, whilst a little dated had a modern washroom and was very clean, peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxed and calm vacation. The atmosphere in the bar was great. Food in the restaurant was superb, and all the staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly visit again and stay for a much longer period next time. "
